My primary 300blk subsonic load used to be Callaway Ballistics. I love that company and their ammo, but their subs would not lock back with my 7” HB and a CAT ODB can. This was even after dropping to a lightweight JP SCS spring and replacing a tungsten buffer (sub carbine weight).
The 220gr subs from Oak have been excellent so far. I’ve only shot 50 rounds so far, but none have been light strikes; all have cycled and allowed for LRBHO (lots of 3 round testing). I told my buddy to grab some for his gas poor 300blk pistol once they’re back in stock!
